Growing up in the middle east I always had a fascination with Oriental Art. I created the room concept on the left as almost a direct replica of “Two Warriors in the Alhambra Palace” by Rudolf Ernst. I used photos that I had taken from my grandmothers home as reference for the props

Following a mix of online tutorials I was able to use X-Gen interactive splines to create and groom fur. I initially practiced on both the rugs in the room and then set to work on the cheetah. I think the final results were totally worth it.
XGen Fur
The Asiatic Cheetah was an important element of the room. My initial attempts to sculpt-in or just texture-in fur were lackluster, and I quickly determined that I would have to figure out a better way to create fur.
